Port Harcourt, State of Rivers In advance of the general elections in 2023, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has denied rumours that he intends to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Notwithstanding the crises engulfing the PDP ahead of the 2023 general elections, Wike claimed he is still an unrepentant member of the organization.

The governor of Rivers state declared that despite being impressed by the APC’s support for a power shift to the south, he continues to be an unrepentant member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
