On Thursday, stock investors gained N8 billion as market capitalisation increased slightly to N29.696 trillion at the close of trading on the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
The All-Share Index rose 0.02 percent to close at 54,520.2 points.
TrippleG led 17 gainers in the stock market, including RTBriscoe, Japaul Gold, LivingTrust, VeritaSkap, Honyflour, and Geregu (BLS).
At the end of Thursday’s trading session, Courtville led the losers’ table, followed by CWG, the NGX Group, Wapic, Fidelity Bank, and Transcorp.
In total, 125,860,855 million shares worth N3.602 billion were traded in 2,670 transactions.
Zenith Bank was the most active stock, with 8,441,601 million shares worth N214,56 million traded in 180 transactions. GTCO shares totaling 19,173,469 million units were traded in 175 transactions for N481.722 million. MTN Nigeria had 318,974 shares worth N77.379m traded in 151 transactions. In 149 transactions, WAPCO traded 4,158,679 million shares valued at 108.96 million.
