Legendary Nollywood star Pete Edochie has praised the virtues of his late grandson, Kambilinachukwu Edochie, adding that even as a child, he was competent.

The Nollywood actor Yul Edochie’s son was Kambilinachukwu. On Thursday morning, the 16-year-old kid passed away.

After Yul and May Edochie celebrated Yul’s 16th birthday, the son passed away two months later.

A very happy 16th birthday to my first son, Kambilinachukwu Leo Yul-Edochie, Yul said on January 4 via his verified Instagram account. God bless you and keep you safe always. many more years of happiness. Daddy cherishes you.

Edochie, however, praised the deceased’s intelligence and talent.

“Kambilinachukwu is a very quiet, brilliant, and talented child. He’s not somebody you can ride easily. He doesn’t get angry no matter the situation.

“He may change his composure, but he was definitely a very unusual person in so many respects.

“He was so accomplished. I always tell my son that I don’t like people excelling like this in anything they are involved in. Experience has taught me that such people don’t last long,” Edochie told Vanguard in an interview.

According to Edochie, the deceased experienced a seizure after losing his balance while playing football with his classmates.

Kambilichukwu, he claimed, died after being taken by ambulance to the Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos.
