Rapper and attorney Falz responded to a post published by Lagos state governor Jide Sanwo-Olu about the elections that were held in his state.

Award-winning rapper, lawyer, and actor Folarin Falana, better known by his stage as Falz, used his social media platform today, March 20, 2023, to respond to a post made by Lagos State Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu after his re-election.

In response to Jide Sanwo-message Olu’s thanking people for his re-election, Falz claimed that violence had ruined the Lagos election process, limiting and disenfranchising Lagosians.

Sanwo-Olu posted:

Thank you Lagosians!I am deeply humbled and grateful for the overwhelming support and trust of the good people of Lagos State. I am honored to be re-elected as your Governor and pledge to continue to work tirelessly to deliver a better Lagos for all. Thank you for believing.

“You were not re-elected. You selected yourself” – Falz calls out Gov. Sanwo-Olu
