Buhari urge Nigerians to vote for Tinubu

On February 19, President Buhari gave a personal message to Nigerians in which he discussed his policies and the 2023 presidential election. In relation to the election, Buhari asked the People to support Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate and provided justifications. The president encouraged Nigerians to exercise patience while he fixes the problems with his government’s programs, saying he is fully aware of specific unforeseen challenges.

President Muhammadu Buhari has once more urged Nigerians to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, in the polls scheduled for February 25. In a statement he published on his official Facebook page on Sunday, February 19, the president reiterated his support for Tinubu.

Addressing Nigerians he said, “comrades in Nigeria, I would  like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for choosing me to serve as your president twice.” Although I am not running in this election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a member of my party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), is. As I have already said, Tinubu is a true believer in Nigeria who cares deeply about the well-being of its citizens and the advancement of our nation.

Meanwhile, the president claimed to be well aware of the current difficulties brought on by some of his government’s initiatives despite the contentious Naira reform program that has sparked protests around the nation.
