He passed away in his sleep in the early hours of Saturday, February 25, according to his family.

He organized the party’s pre-election operations up until late Friday night, according to the family members, and was claimed to be enthusiastically anticipating the start of voting on Saturday. His remains have already been placed in the national capital’s Asokoro Hospital mortuary.
